A Short History of the ISKA
-We are a young federation in Europe, but an institution in America, the beginning of Kickboxing.
-We love that sport with all its dimensions and try to act for the athlete.
-Every ISKA member has the possibility to take part in every tournament, to develop him. Our aim is to do a lot for the athlete with a little fee: for example seminars, sport trips and financial support for the national team.
-We want to set standards with our tournaments, to organise the biggest tournaments in the near future.
-If you are fed up with the commercial federations, in which the athlete stands in the background, than join us.

ISKA in Europe:
At the last annual meeting of the ISKA Europe the members voted for a new "board of directors"
and for some new directions and ideas in the ISKA Europe. As of now, we again have an amateur federation in Europe, with bylaws, rules and regulations. This ISKA Europe federation will sanction tournaments and shows including European and World Championships. If you would like to have ISKA sanctioning for your tournament, contact with the ISKA representative. All professional promoters and fighters are listed online and accessible to anybody in the international rankling list. The position of each fighter is determined according to their fighting record and their value. ISKA world wide: The US OPEN, held annually in Florida, is the world's BIGGEST KICKBOXING TOURNAMENT.
The ISKA is recognised worldwide as both a regulating body for competitive martial arts and the governing body for amateur and professional kickboxing. Hosting their annual martial arts championships (in semicontact and forms) yearly at the prestigious US Open World Martial Arts Championships, the ISKA crowns world champions in seven types of martial arts competition. Sanctioning over 200 major title kickboxing events per year on five continents, the ISKA continues to update rules, train & certify officials and maintain the ratings necessary to recognize both worthy champions and world rated kickboxing contenders in this fast growing and exciting sport. The ISKA's international network of events insures the credibility of their "world championship" titles and gives these world class athletes an international platform on which to perform. Live events are very well attended with major shows being broadcasted as special ISKA pay per view extravaganzas as well as being taped for our weekly television series on ESPN2, STRIKE FORCE: ISKA KICKBOXING. Additionally , 1998 marked the return of competitive martial arts to national television with the airing of four, half hour segments taped from the 25th Annual U.S. Open.
Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Cynthia Rothrock, Ernie Reyes Jr., and Jeff Speakman are just a few of the names of the industry stars who have appeared at events in support of the ISKA, competitive martial arts and the sport of kickboxing.

TEAM ISKA DENMARK under ledelsen af BAYRAM KORKMAZ (5. dan),
som er Reps. for ISKA DENMARK og Director for ISKA SCANDINAVIA
deltog fra 06 -10 oktober 2009 med 12 kæmpere i kategorierne
light contact/ full contact/ K-1 rulles, thaiboxing i
ISKA - EM ( International Sport Kickboxing Association) i Rom / Italien.
Der var 450 kæmpere fra 19 lande med EM i år og mange l
ande kunne ikke får visum for at deltage. Der blev afviklet kampe i semi contact,
light contact, full contact, lowkick, k-1 rulles, tahiboxing, mma og forms.
Der var meget højt nivå i år i mange kategorierne. Team ISKA DENMARK, klarede sig
rigtig flot i blandt de stærke nationer.
Og fik i alt 3 guld, 4 sølv og 4 bronze medaljer med hjem. Det er super flot resultat
for Danmark, som kan vise det Danske flag blandt de stærke nationer.
Stor tillykke til alle kæmpere med deres flotte resultater og stor ros til
Team Iska Denmark trænere for deres super indsats.
Stor tak til Lene for en kanon tur alt var perfekt.

 CHIN-GU FULL CONTACT ELITE KÆMPER SØREN JØRGENSEN EFTER SEJREN PÅ KO OVER SIN MODSTANDER FRA FINLAND
CHIN-GU FULL CONTACT, vil sige stor tak til alle deltager til NORDIC OPEN. Der var mange dygtige kæmpere fra Danmark, Sverige, Norge, Finland og Italien, som kæmpede i forskellige kategorier i semi, light, full contact og kickboxing med lowkick. Stævnet startede til tiden og alle kampene på tre kamp arelaer blev afviklet i god tid. KÆMPE ros til CHIN-GU`s medlemmer som gjorde en super indsats. Stor tillykke til CHIN-GU`s kæmpere med deres flotte resultatter og stor ros til CHIN-GU´s trænere for deres flotte indsats.

CHIN-GU FULL CONTACT deltog med 4 kæmpere til Danish Open som blev afholdt i Ålborg. Det blev til 2 første pl. og 2 anden pl. Søren Jørgensen fik guld. i full contact- 60 kg. Han stoppede sin modstander i første omgang. lene Laitienen fik også guld i - 60 kg light contact. Lene kæmpede to kampe og vandt begge. Chin-GU`s junior kæmper Seyhan Öztürk fik sølv i light contact efter han tapte til en dygtige modstander. Sidste Chin-Gu kæmpere 13 år Younes Sadi fik også sølv i light contact. Han mødte en dygtige modstander og tapte til ham. Super flot resultat for CHIN-GU og stor tillykke til alle 4 kæmpere. Stor ros til CHIN-GU trænere og dommere for deres flotte indsats.

TEAM ISKA-DENMARK SPARRINGSDAG
|
TEAM ISKA SPARRINGSDAG blev afholdt i CHIN-GU`s lokaller i Bavnehøjhallen. Der deltog kæmpere fra DK og Sverige. Der blev sparret 2X2 timer i Boksning, Kickboxning og Thaiboxing. Stor tak til alle deltagere. Der vil blive afholdt SPARRINGSDAG 2 i slutning af januar.

GRADUERINGER I FAMILIE KICKBOXING
|
Der blev afholdt gradueringer i CHIN-GU`s FAMILIE KICKBOXING hold den 21 november. Deltagerne blev gradueret i gult,orange og grønt bælte.Alle deltager bestod deres prøve. Som observatør deltog CHIN-GU´s kampholds træner Per Jensen(1.dan). Stor ros til Familie Kickboxing`s træner Jonny og hjælpe træner Jimmie for deres flotte indsats.
